Eric Lind, 56, died suddenly on June 3, 2017. He is survived by his mother Marilyn, wife Mary, stepson Aaron, daughter-in-law Melissa, granddaughter Joeli, sister Kirsten, and brother Norman(Emily). Plus nieces Emily, Jennifer, Rachel, Megan & Kate and nephew Marcus.

Eric graduated from Aloha high school in 1979. At the time of his death he was employed by Multi-Tek as a sales engineer.

Eric was a man of many talents and diverse interests. A warm August afternoon might find him making salsa from tomatoes grown from his home garden. Or he might be found hiking through the wilderness trail in Northwest Montana - pole in hand and heavy pack on his back. There was also a good chance you might find him in his downstairs studio recordings some guitar tracks for a new album.

Modernizing fixer-uppers challenged his patience and carpentry skills. Rafting down the Rogue River with friends brought him closer to the unspoiled side of nature that he loved; running three legs of the Hood To Coast relay did not.

The original Christmas cards and guitar songs offer convincing clues as to the range of his creativity and the readiness of his humor.

We are better for having known him. We were happier when we were around him and eternally our lives have been forever strengthened. Anyone meeting Eric for the first time knew they were meeting someone special, instantly one knew that if I could just be a part of his life I'd be bettered by the beautiful spirit he was. He will forever be ours, we are the lucky ones.

He is missed.
