Willie Clellia Underwood, 94, of Portland, Oregon, passed away September 8th, 2017. She was born in Pueblo, Colorado on February 28th, 1923 to Charles L. Underwood and Marie Katherine Franklin.



Willie worked as a business owner of a janitorial service company, a massage parlor with her sister Marjorie as well as the owner of a beauty salon in Long Beach, CA. She also spent time in Alaska doing work on the railroads there.



She had a passion for music and was a members of The Fiddlers Club, traveling with the group to perform....

Willie worked as a business owner of a janitorial service company, a massage parlor with her sister Marjorie as well as the owner of a beauty salon in Long Beach, CA. She also spent time in Alaska doing work on the railroads there.



She had a passion for music and was a members of The Fiddlers Club, traveling with the group to perform. Aside from the fiddle, she was also skilled in playing the mandolin and organ. Willie enjoyed reading magazines such as National Geographic and Readers Digest as well as collecting dolls and dancing.



She was known as a hard worker who constantly kept herself dedicated to her career, never wanting to get too comfortable and lose the drive to succeed in her ventures.



Willie is survived by her sisters, Marjorie, Oltherine, Betty, Charlene, Mary and Jany. She is preceded in death by her brothers Albert, Samuel, Tommy and her sisters Myrtle and Sarah.
